Coffin Bread

棺材板(グアンツァイバン)とは|歴史・食べられる夜市・注文フレーズ

A Tainan specialty: thick toast deep-fried, hollowed out and filled with a creamy seafood or chicken stew. It was named in the 1940s–50s because its shape resembles a coffin board. The contrast of the crisp bread and silky filling is the delight.
